Our rooms

We are an adults-only bed & breakfast, welcoming guests aged 16 and over. Please note that the minimum age to make a booking is 18.

Our B&B is non-smoking, and currently, we do not accommodate guest dogs.  Wi-Fi is free for all guests during their stay.

As Hoot House is a traditional Victorian townhouse, all guest accommodation is accessed by stairs. One room is located on the first floor, with the remaining rooms on the second floor. Unfortunately, we do not currently have facilities suitable for guests with significant mobility impairments, so guests should be comfortable using domestic staircases.

We don’t have parking directly outside, but you can park on the nearby High Street or in one of the two car parks just a few minutes’ walk away. However, you won’t need a car while staying with us – you're already in the heart of everything!

Guest Extra – Complimentary Transfer

Subject to availability, we’re happy to offer a complimentary pick-up or drop-off at the airport or harbour for the ferry. If you’d like to use this service, please let us know in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

All rooms feature:

• A hospitality tray offering an assortment of teas, coffees, and hot chocolate, complete with a cafetière
• A mini fridge to keep fresh milk for your drinks, plus space for a canned beverage
• A hairdryer
• A dressing gown for each guest to use, with a pair of complimentary slippers
• Central heating and windows that open
• Linen and towels provided
• Flat-screen remote controlled TV
• A fan is available for added comfort during hot days
• Wardrobe or hanging space
• Complimentary toiletries in the bathroom

Check out time: 10:00 AM

You're welcome to check in earlier than 2:00 PM if the room is available. If it's not ready when you arrive, we're happy to store your luggage and place it in your room once everything is prepared.

Since we’re called Hoot House, it only made sense to name our unique rooms after owls!
